Samsung Production Flash Chip 64GB

chip-flash-64gbSamsung electronics producers a few days ago announced two flash-based storage media, as an ideal solution for mobile devices. Company introduced a moviNAND 64GB flash memory chip with a high density, as well as micro cards Secure Digital (SD) 32GB.

32GB removable microSD card based flash that started to be developed this month, consists of eight layers 4GB chip. Samsung claims is the microSD with the largest storage capacity of mass-produced ready.

New microSD profile remained lean despite a high density with thinness is only 0.7 mm to 1 mm and the card will enter the production phase in February.

Samsung also claimed thickness 64GB flash chip just 1.4mm and is made with the 30-nanometer manufacturing, by stacking up to sixteen layers at once the chip has its own storage controller. Mass production has been underway since December, and Samsung claims moviNAND 64GB chip is the first in the market today ahead of Toshiba.

Samsung and Toshiba is known as a supplier of flash memory for Apple, not surprisingly, there are claims that the popularity of Apple iPhone calls later moved on to feature high-capacity memory onboard.
